Load-out dates, times, and procedures are posted for each auction and may vary by location, item type, and auction format. All items must be removed within the stated load-out timeframe.
Buyers are responsible for reviewing load-out requirements prior to bidding and ensuring they have adequate equipment, transportation, and personnel available for timely removal.

Buyers assume all risk of loss, damage, injury, or liability associated with loading, removal, and transportation of purchased items.
Buyers are strongly encouraged to carry adequate insurance coverage, including general liability and, where applicable, vehicle and cargo insurance, prior to entering the premises for load-out.
Any assistance provided by Kiefer Auctioneers, the seller, or site personnel is offered strictly as a courtesy only and does not create any duty, obligation, or assumption of liability. Such assistance is provided at the buyer’s sole risk, and Kiefer Auctioneers and the seller expressly disclaim all liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from or related to loading, removal, or transportation.
All risk of loss, damage, or liability transfers to the buyer immediately upon the auctioneer’s declaration of “sold,” regardless of payment status, load-out timing, or whether the item has been removed from the premises.
By entering the auction site, attending inspection or preview, participating in load-out, or removing purchased items, the buyer—along with the buyer’s guests, agents, employees, contractors, or representatives—assumes all risk and agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kiefer Auctioneers, the seller, the property owner, and their respective officers, agents, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to:
This release and indemnification applies whether such claims arise before, during, or after removal of purchased items and regardless of cause, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Buyers may use independent contractors, haulers, riggers, or service providers for loading or transportation; however:
Any third-party company or contractor working on behalf of the purchaser must provide Kiefer Auctioneers with a valid Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) and prior to performing any work on site. Failure to provide proof of insurance may result in denial of site access.
Kiefer Auctioneers does not supervise, insure, endorse, or guarantee the work of any third-party contractors, nor the actions of their agents, employees, attendees, or guests.
Kiefer Auctioneers, the seller, and the property owner assume no responsibility or liability for loss, theft, damage, or injury occurring before, during, or after the auction, including during load-out or removal. All buyers, contractors, and participants enter auction premises at their own risk.
