How It Works:

For Sellers

1. Consign Your Items

Contact Kiefer Auctioneers to place your items in an upcoming auction. We’ll professionally photograph, catalog, and market your assets to thousands of qualified buyers across regional and national marketplaces. Your listing will clearly identify the city and state where the item is located.

2. Auction Begins

Your items are offered to competitive bidders through our professionally managed online auction platform, ensuring maximum exposure and transparent bidding.

3. Get Paid

After the auction concludes, we collect payment from the buyer, coordinate the transaction, and promptly issue your settlement, less the applicable commission and agreed-upon fees.

For Buyers

1. Register to Bid

Create your online bidding account and receive approval to participate.

2. Browse the Catalog

Review detailed descriptions, photographs, and available documentation for each item. If you’d like to inspect an item in person, simply contact Kiefer Auctioneers to schedule an appointment.

3. Bid Online

Place bids conveniently from your computer, tablet, or mobile device throughout the auction.

4. Payment & Pickup

After the auction closes, you’ll receive an invoice from Kiefer Auctioneers. Once payment has been received and made, you will pick up your item at the designated item location.

Load-Out Dates

Here are the load-out dates and times you need to know for our Online Summer Consignment Auction in North Texas:

  • Wednesday, August 26, 2026 & Thursday, August 27, 2026: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT (Denton area)
  • Friday, August 28, 2026 & Saturday, August 29, 2026: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT (Farmersville area)
  • Sunday, August 30, 2026: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM CT (By appointment only)
  • After Saturday, August 30, 2026: Load-out will be by appointment only. Appointments must be scheduled immediately with the Auction Company following the conclusion of the auction.

FINAL LOAD-OUT DEADLINE: Monday, August 31, 2026 

All purchased items must be removed during the designated load-out dates and times. If you are unable to pick up your items during the scheduled load-out period, you must contact the Auction Company immediately after the auction concludes to make alternate arrangements.

Mandatory Removal: All purchases must be removed by the stated deadline. Any items not removed by Monday, August 31, 2026, will be considered abandoned and forfeited without refund. The purchaser waives all rights, title, and interest to the property, and the Auction Company and Seller reserve the right to dispose of the items at their sole discretion. No exceptions.

Shipping

If you require shipping, please notify the Auction Company immediately following the auction. The buyer is responsible for all associated costs, including a handling fee charged by the Auction Company, as well as freight and packaging fees charged by the shipping carrier.

  • A $25 handling fee applies to each lot requiring shipment.
  • For oversized items or lots requiring special crating/packaging, a $50 handling fee per lot will apply. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to coordinate and arrange for a shipping company to pick up any large or heavy (crated) items within the stated pick-up days and times.

Once an item is declared sold, the Auction Company assumes no responsibility for damage or loss incurred during shipping. By purchasing, the buyer accepts full responsibility for the item(s) and agrees to release and indemnify the Auctioneer and Auction Company from any claims, damages, or liabilities of any kind.

Important Points to Remember

  • Payments will be processed immediately after the auction closes.
  • Buyers will be emailed an invoice from Kiefer Auctioneers with payment details. Check your junk and spam folders.
  • You must notify the Auction Company by 5:00 pm on the day of the auction how you will be paying by calling or texting (940) 391-9111. Please leave a detailed message stating your name and bidder number, how and when you will be paying, or to run your card on file. All payment arrangements must be made within 24 hours after the conclusion of the auction to avoid your card on file being run.
  • Wire Transfer must be received by the auction company the following business morning after the auction. All payment information and wire transfer instructions will be emailed to all winning purchasers after the auction from Kiefer Auctioneers (not ProxiBid or BidSpotter), so please check your junk and spam folders.
  • You may pay with cash, check with a bank letter of guarantee, or credit card with a 3.79% convenience fee.
  • All financing MUST be in place PRIOR to the Auction – You can apply for financing on our Financing tab on our homepage prior to the auction date (please allow enough time for processing your requested loan amount).
  • Make sure your TAX EXEMPT information is CURRENT on your ProxiBid and BidSpotter account; otherwise, you will be charged taxes until it is updated. No exceptions will be made. All sales destined for states that qualify for resale or agricultural use may be exempt from sales tax, provided the purchaser submits a valid exemption form for the applicable state. If you receive an invoice showing sales tax and you hold a resale or agricultural exemption in your state, you must supply us with a completed and signed exemption certificate. Upon receipt and verification, the sales tax will be removed from your invoice. Sales tax will be collected per state regulations; the tax rate is determined by the physical location of the item(s).
  • All item(s) are being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, without any warranty or guarantee, written or implied, with respect to any matter whatsoever.
  • This is a legitimate auction business; thus, no bidding mistakes will be entertained when bidding online, nor buyer’s remorse.
  • The bidder will be responsible for placing a bid and paying for the item they bid on, even if it’s an honest mistake made by the bidder.
  • If the buyer fails to pick up the merchandise by the stated pick-up dates above, the buyer will forfeit their purchase and will not be refunded for any items purchased.
  • By visiting the auction and auction site, whether previewing auction items or operating any auction items, or by simply visiting the auction or auction site as a guest or bidder representative, and/or by registering to bid in our auction, you agree that you have read, understand, and fully agree to abide by all the terms listed in our Terms and Conditions, as expressly implied. All Terms and Conditions can be found on the Terms and Conditions button on this auction listing page, or they can be emailed to you by written request to info@kieferauctions.com.
  • All registered bidders authorize the Auction Company to run your registered card on file and agree to abide by all terms listed in our Terms and Conditions.
  • There will be a 13% buyer’s premium online (if you are going to give $100, give $87, etc.).
  • All items must be paid for before the removal of an item, and you must bring a Paid Receipt when you pick up your items from the Auction Company.
  • Bidder understands and agrees to any phone or text charges that may apply by becoming a registered bidder in the auction, and additionally understands and agrees to any photography, video, and audio recordings used at the auction premises and during the auction for security, legal, and/or promotional purposes.
  • All interested parties agree they have read the Terms and Conditions of this auction and agree to abide by the Auction Company’s Terms and Conditions by becoming a registered bidder, whether online or onsite. How Can You Pay for Your Item?

  • The Auction Company will email your invoice to you immediately after the auction is over to remit payment. You have until 5:00 PM CT or the conclusion of the auction, whichever comes first, to make payment arrangements before your card on file will be run.
  • Payment can be made via Cash, Check (with Bank Letter of Guarantee), ACH or Wire Transfer, or by Credit Card with a 3.79% convenience fee.
  • Buyer (Purchaser) must contact the Auction Company at (940) 391-9111 by 5:00 PM CT on the date of auction or at the conclusion of the auction. Please leave a detailed message with your name and bidder/paddle number, as well as how and when you will pay for your invoice or run your card on file.
  • Wire Transfer must be received by the auction company the following business morning after the auction. All payment information and wire transfer instructions will be emailed to all winning Buyers (Purchasers) after the auction from Kiefer Auctioneers (not ProxiBid), so please check your junk and spam folders.
  • You authorize the Auction Company to run your registered card on file and agree to abide by all terms listed in our Terms and Conditions.
